In 1863 it was an exhibition in Germany where Doberman was shown. This event was followed by starting a studbook for the breed. But the creator of Doberman -Frieidrich Louis Dobermann-died and therefore was not a looker of triumphal success of his grand dogs. After his death the old name of the breed was changed for Doberman-Pincher in honour of its creator. The world recognized the new title only in 1900. Fédération Cynologique Internationale registered the breed as German and assigned it the number 143. So, Doberman turned to be having the two names. It is difficult to find in cynological literature some initial information not only on the breed but also on Doberman himself. Later on in 1949 the breed was deprived of the word “ Pinscher” in its name as a lot of cynologists could not allow that dog Doberman was joined to pinscher group. Majority of breed investigators name Otto Geller the father of Doberman breed. This man made great efforts to change a wicked and nasty nature of these dogs for more obedient, accommodating and calm. The breed was considerably improved thanks to Goeller who authorized to keep them even at home. The other stimulus for Doberman popularization among people was the complaint if his neighbor who was very discontent with noise from “the father of the breed…”
